Mortgage Underwriter

The Role

We’re looking for experienced Mortgage Underwriters who will be responsible for reviewing documentation and underwriting deals from across the country. You’ll work closely with our Mortgage Sales team and third‑party brokers to ensure we’re finding the most effective solutions for our customers, and through that, you’ll be an integral part of enabling Neo to deliver a full range of financing products and services partnered with an exceptional customer experience.

What you’ll be doing

• Underwrite complex and high‑value mortgage loan applications, including those with unique borrower profiles or property types.
• Deliver mortgages from the application stage through to funding with the support of your MFO.
• Execute skilled and clear communication with Sales team, mortgage brokers, and internal/external partners to ensure their understanding of the mortgage process, expectations and documentation required.
