Mining Technician

Summary of Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Director of Mining Engineering, the incumbent will be involved in all phases of assessment and development of underground and/or open pit mining projects. More specifically, the candidate will be called upon to:

• Contribute strategically to the design, validation and optimization of technical drawings based on project requirements and industry best practices;
• Actively participate in the development and optimization of long‑term planning of mining activities;
• Contribute to the analysis, validation and interpretation of technical and operational data necessary for project development up to the construction and production phases;
• Participate in the technical evaluation and equipment selection process for the various projects under study;
