Mine Planner - Long Term

• Bachelor of Science, BTech or Bachelor’s Degree or Advance Diploma in Mining Engineering • A valid Blasting Certificate (Rock Breaker) • Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency (MMCC) • Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in Medium term or long term in pit designs and production schedules. • At least 3 years of hands-on, underground, or opencast production experience (e.g., serving as a Shiftboss or Mine Overseer) to ensure plans are practical. • Understanding of cut-off grades and orebody modelling • Experience in open-pit and/or underground mining • High Proficiency in mine planning software (e.g. Deswik, Datamine, Mine2-4D, Surpac or MineSched) • Sound understanding of open pit mining operations and production processes • Must be declared medically fit for duty.
