KREX-TV in beautiful Grand Junction, Colorado has an immediate opening for an on‑air Meteorologist. This is a full‑time, Monday – Friday weather position where you will produce content for television, digital and social platforms. Apply and include a link to your on‑air work . • Must be well‑versed in utilizing social media to post weather content which engages viewers and users. Writes web stories detailing the local forecast daily.
• Ensures that all weather content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality.
• Assists in writing, copy editing, researching and coordinating weather programming and other content.
• Responds to breaking and/or severe weather events and other urgent newsrooms situations as required.
