Opportunity Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Finishing Technician to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. In this role, you will prepare, smooth, and finish a variety of flat and shaped metal components (such as stainless steel). Using a mix of electrical and pneumatic power tools, you will ensure all parts meet our quality and surface finish standards before they are packaged for delivery.
The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, understands the properties of different metals, and possesses a solid working knowledge of various abrasives and finishing techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Grind, sand, buff, deburr, and clean metal parts at various production stages to achieve specified finishes.
- Safely and effectively operate both portable power tools (e.g., belt sanders, angle grinders) and stationary grinding machinery.
- Execute beveling and rolling procedures on equipment according to specific technical instructions.
