Opportunity Description
Become a Mental Health and Addictions Navigator with the TteS Band to assist individuals facing mental health challenges. This full-time position focuses on providing culturally-sensitive support in Kamloops.
In this role, you will help adult TteS members navigate mental health and addiction services. Your responsibilities will include crisis counseling, case management, and ongoing client follow-up. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong understanding of harm-reduction approaches and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support
• Develop and manage clients' individualized care plans
• Conduct follow-ups with community programs
• Facilitate group support for clients as needed
• Document client progress and updates effectively
