Medical Radiation Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Opportunities

Our Nuclear Medicine department stands out for its size, state‑of‑the‑art equipment, and the strong sense of teamwork that defines our staff. We currently have six gamma cameras, a bone density machine, three hot labs and a dedicated PET department, and are fully equipped to serve patients locally and across all of Northern Ontario. The department is housed in a spacious, bright facility with large windows and beautiful rooms, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for both patients and staff.

You can expect a dynamic and varied workload, with the opportunity to perform a wide range of procedures. Some examples are bone scans, WBC scans, thyroid uptake scans, ablation therapies, renal scans, V/Q scans, gastrointestinal studies, cardiac studies, and bone density tests. We also perform oncology PET scans, giving you exposure to different technologies and patient care.
