Medical Radiation Technologist I

This Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) I position performs quality general radiology and portable examinations in the busy and dynamic Diagnostic Imaging Department at the Cardston Health Centre.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician requisitions and prepare patients for examination.
• Perform a variety of standard technical radiological imaging examinations for disease and pathology diagnosis.
• Produce high quality diagnostic images for Physician/Radiologist review.
• Assist with the care and maintenance of imaging equipment.
• Conduct general and portable radiography, mobile and surgical suite examinations, and fluoroscopy when required.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program.
