Under the direction of the Medical Practice Manager, this position performs routine medical assistant functions as well as other required tasks. Under the supervision of the Clinical staff Medical Assistant will perform venipuncture and finger blood, including drawing, capping, and labeling of blood specimens, as well as performing EKGs, Phlebotomy Certification is required. Bi-lingual Spanish highly desired!
+ Performs all routine medical assistant functions with consistency, according to policy/best practice and expected service standards, while adhering to the participants' right for privacy and dignity.
+ Consistently and accurately takes and documents in the EMR participant's blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, and weight.
