Psychologist, Student Wellness Centre

Reporting to the director of student health and wellbeing, the staff psychologist provides direct psychological services to university students in the department. This position contributes to the supervision and training of clinical psychology trainees through a shared supervision model involving psychologists and other qualified clinical supervisors within the department.

The psychologist maintains an active clinical caseload and provides assessment, intervention, psychotherapy, crisis response, consultation, and referral services to students, including individuals presenting with complex mental health concerns or an elevated risk of harm to themselves or others. This role contributes to the shared objectives of the department and the university psychology program, including training expectations influenced by Canadian Psychological Association accreditation standards.
