Position Overview

To perform testing and provide accurate and timely reporting of clinical and environmental laboratory tests as part of a team of laboratory professionals, within Public Health Ontario’s (PHO’s) quality policies and technical procedures and the regulatory and accreditation requirements within their scope of work.

Key Responsibilities

• Be competent to perform laboratory activities, work in accordance with the laboratory's management system and conduct standardized medical/clinical/environmental tests and procedures for the isolation, quantification, identification, molecular testing and antimicrobial susceptibility testing of clinically significant bacteria, fungi, parasites, viruses and associated antibodies as applicable.
