Mechanical Engineer II

Job Responsibilities

• Supports the timely delivery of mechanical engineering work packages within cost and quality requirements for assigned project(s).
• Conducts prototype testing to evaluate performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical systems and collects and analyzes data for improvements.
• Identifies appropriate materials and processes to ensure quality, performance, and manufacturability of products.
• Utilizes software and other design and modeling tools to plan, develop, and improve mechanical parts or components and communicates conceptual designs and specifications to stakeholders.
• Develops solutions and solves intermediate to semi‑complex problems to deliver engineering projects on time, on quality, and on budget.
• Writes reports and presents work at peer and design reviews.
