Mechanical Engineer [Bluedrop Training & Simulation]

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing mechanical systems and creating drawing packages for Bluedrop's simulation product group. The Mechanical Engineer reports to the Senior Director, Systems Engineering. The Mechanical Engineer will work on the improvement of Bluedrop's existing simulator products and working with a team to develop new simulation products.

Responsibilities

• Documenting and/or reviewing design specifications.
• Developing design concepts in AutoCAD Inventor.
• Analyzing and selecting the appropriate modeling technique(s) and design architecture.
• Developing preliminary and detailed models in AutoCAD Inventor.
• Developing detailed part drawings and assembly drawings, per internal drawing standards.
• Organizing model and drawing releases, per internal procedures.
• Incorporating design changes based on internal and external stakeholder feedback.
