Mechanical Draughtsman

Role Overview

A Mechanical Draftsman in the coil manufacturing industry prepares detailed technical drawings and layouts for HVAC coils, heat exchanger coils, condenser evaporator coils, and related sheet metal components. You will translate engineer designs into shop‑ready drawings used by production, CNC, and assembly teams.

Drawing & Detailing

Create 2D/3D drawings of finned tube coils, DX coils, chilled water coils, and condenser coils using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.

Coil Calculations

Interpret engineering data sheets and apply standards to detail tube layouts, fin spacing, header design, circuiting, number of rows, and coil dimensions.

Shop Drawings

Develop fabrication drawings with tolerances, bend allowances, material specs, and welding symbols for production teams.
