Mechanical Development Engineer - Mechanical Integration

The Mechanical Development Engineer (MDE) – Mechanical Integration (MI) is responsible for the design, development and release of housing, castings, stampings, bearings, fasteners, seals, plugs, harnesses, cooling & lubrication systems that work together within an assembly to meet overall performance requirements.

The MDE operates within the eDrive Engineering organization, collaborating closely with CAD Designers, CAE Engineers, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and suppliers to execute work requests, obtain design and analysis support, and achieve successful component release. The role emphasizes cross‑functional coordination to support production launch and ongoing manufacturing activities while driving cost reductions and product improvements.
