Support to Operation (STO) Turbomachinery - Mechanical Designer

We design and manufacture next-generation aircraft engines that power the largest fleet of business, general aviation, and regional aircraft and helicopters. This role supports our outstanding fleet of engines in field, redesigning and analyzing various components for turbomachines.

Responsibilities

• Full‑time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, performed exclusively in office.
• Solve mechanical design problems on production and field engines.
• Re‑design mechanical components to facilitate manufacturing.
• Resolve producibility challenges on turbomachinery components.
• Perform thorough engineering evaluations of non‑conforming material.
• Support outsourcing activities by defining and executing substantiation plans for components manufactured by recent suppliers.
