Opportunity Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, detailing, and support of mechanical equipment used in the mining, quarrying, and materials-handling industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical equipment using SolidWorks (3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings).
- Produce GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Assist with conveyor layouts and basic belt calculations.
- Support the design of vibrating screens, feeders, chutes, and crusher support structures.
- Liaise with workshop, production, and procurement teams.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback and requirements.
- Assist with technical documentation and data books.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety requirements.
