**Job Description**

The Mechanical Assembler position involves performing routine production duties in the re-manufacturing of heavy equipment engines, transmissions, and powertrains. The role includes disassembling, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling components, utilizing small machinery and hand tools.

**Responsibilities**

+ Disassemble engines, small components, transmissions, differentials, motors, and hydraulics using small machinery and hand tools with supervision.
+ Prepare surfaces by grinding, sanding, cleaning, or polishing objects or parts to correct defects.
+ Perform machine setups, material handling, and minor general maintenance.
+ Operate the hot tank machine and maintain chemical concentration.
+ Steam clean parts or objects for reuse.
+ Produce work that meets or exceeds customer expectations following the highest quality standards.
