Mechanic

We are looking for a Mechanic for our Deer Lake site . Our ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, enjoy troubleshooting and performing preventative measures to ensure our equipment is in working order to harvest peat. A shuttle bus service is also available from Riverton to our Deer Lake location.

Job Summary

• Perform daily maintenance on tractors and equipment.
• Carry out repairs and perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and maintain power transmissions, as well as hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.
• Complete approved work orders according to the established schedule.

Qualifications

• Training or experience in mechanics is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
