Mechanic - Journey Industrial

The Mechanic – Journey Industrial works under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor or Designated Foreman/Leading Industrial Mechanic and is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repairs to the large and complex mechanical equipment as assigned.

As the Mechanic – Journey Industrial you will:

• Be responsible for the detailed planning and carrying out mechanical repairs to complex large pump units, compressors, overhead cranes, moving bridge, etc.
• Be responsible for installation of new major mechanical equipment as required for increased plant capacity and/or plant optimization.
• Be responsible for ordering replacement part and equipment as required.
• Be responsible for repairs, replacement and modifications to chlorination and other chemical equipment with the Department.
