Maternity Support Practitioner for Oak Team

Job overview

·The post holder will assist the multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of high quality, effective and compassionate family-centred maternity care; to ensure optimal care for women and babies.

·The post holder will work closely with the Continuity of Care team to ensure all women receive the necessary information to ensure informed choices for newborn screening, infant feeding, and postnatal care

·The post holder will provide clinical, physical, psychological and emotional care and support, providing appropriate information and, where necessary, signpost to wider support organisations.
