Materials and Production Planner

Job Description Summary The Material & Production Planner owns the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and the planning parameters that drive MRP outputs in SAP. This role is the connective tissue between demand, supply, and production execution - responsible for ensuring that production orders are correctly scheduled, material-ready, and grounded in accurate data. The planner generates and maintains demand signals (PIRs) that give buyers long-lead visibility, governs the SAP parameters that determine how inventory is replenished, and serves as the single point of contact for production schedule changes and expedite feasibility.
