Responsibilities
- Adheres to the stock strategy guidelines supplied by BA SCM and aligns with Plant SCM.
- Manages exception messages and reviews raw material requirements daily in MRP.
- Converts purchase requisitions to purchase orders where needed.
- Analyzes raw material supply to ensure we stay balanced with inventory.
- Monitors supply by ensuring confirmation on purchase orders, following up on expected and late deliveries.
- Communicates with vendors to obtain product or service information, availability, and delivery schedule.
- Works closely with receiving, supply chain, finance, production and management.
- Provides good customer service to internal and external customers assisting and supporting requests, needs etc.
- Expedites orders and requests as needed.
- Owns the raw material debottlenecking process and aligns with BA Procurement if not resolved, provides details for escalation.
