Overview
The Engineering function is responsible for delivering innovative solutions in rugged photonics and advanced micro-electronics for commercial, defense and aerospace applications. This team ensures the design, development and testing of power equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop power equipment and systems.
- Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements.
- Assist in design, development and testing.
- Assist in preparing estimates, schedule and related documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
Qualifications
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Electrical or electronic equipment manufacturing knowledge and experience.
- Design electrical and electronic components and systems.
