MASSAGE THERAPIST

The Bigstone Community Wellness department is seeking an experienced and motivated Massage Therapist to join the Health Team in Wabasca, Alberta. This role offers support and collaboration from a multidisciplinary team and involves interacting with Indigenous culture.

Duties and Responsibilities

• A contract position, working 10 days per month for one year.
• Must accept direct billing.
• Must have own supplies.
• Working space with a massage table, chair, and towel warmer may be provided by the Client (BHC) if needed.
• Must be willing to travel to community for services.
• Fee is negotiable.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment.
• Uphold high standards of client care and professionalism.
• Must be culturally sensitive, aware, and informed about First Nations.
• Other duties as required.
