Opportunity Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee the technical management of assigned tanker vessels, ensuring safe and reliable operations in line with company SMS, class, flag, statutory and industry requirements.
- Monitor vessel condition, planned maintenance, defects, performance and operational reports; follow up with shipboard teams to close technical matters in a timely manner.
- Provide day‑to‑day technical support to Masters, Chief Engineers and vessel teams, including troubleshooting, repairs and coordination with OEMs / third‑party service providers. Provide operational and commercial guidance to Masters, including voyage orders, port limitations, navigation risks, and security threats.
- Monitor, coordinate and attend to vessels for CDI/SIRE/PSC inspections, statutory surveys, related matters and follow‑up.
