About the Role

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager leads the manufacturing engineering team at Leggett & Platt, driving manufacturing excellence, safety assurance, and process improvement across all operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a safety‑first approach and maintain a zero‑accident culture, ensuring compliance with work, accident prevention, and environmental protection regulations.
• Develop and manage the Manufacturing Engineering budget, monitor process output quality and quantity, and take corrective actions to prevent scrap.
• Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) in new product development, and design new manufacturing processes and equipment specifications.
• Prepare, review, and submit manufacturing input for the quote cycle to align with capabilities and market competitiveness.
