Manufacturing Engineer

At Sheffield Forgemasters we have exciting opportunities for a Manufacturing engineer to join our team at a transformative time for our business. Through our significant recapitalisation programme, we are investing heavily in our manufacturing facilities, technology and people, including the introduction of a new Machine Shop that will be fully operational by 2028.

Working from our 64-acre Sheffield site, you'll play a key role in supporting the manufacture of some of the world's largest and most complex forged and cast components, contributing to critical defence, energy and civil nuclear programmes. Our Machine Shops undertake both rough and finish machining operations to exacting tolerances, producing complex components such as reactor heads for nuclear applications. The department operates a vast range of milling, turning, boring and finishing machinery, including the UK's largest Vertical Turning Lathe and Horizontal Floor Borer.
