Job Overview
Assists more senior engineers in implementing manufacturing techniques, processes, tools and machinery in order to optimize quality and output levels.
Responsibilities
- Execute Machine Safety Lifecycle according to international standards.
- Train TE engineers and technicians in Functional Safety according to international standards.
- Program PLCs, HMI, Robots, Servomotors and Machine Vision Systems for new machine builds according to customer requirements.
- Optimize existing PLCs, HMI, Robots, Servomotors and Machine Vision programs to reduce downtimes, improve quality or reduce manufacturing cycle time.
- Document PLCs, HMI, Robots, Servomotors and Machine Vision Systems schematics of new automated machines built.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts and Design of Experiments to test automation concepts or test new pieces of technology.
