Manufacturing Engineer

+ Job Summary:The Manufacturing Engineer has responsibility of day-to-day engineering duties on the plant floor to support production of high pressure gas cylinders.Primary role is to lead cost savings efforts, identifying new processes, equipment, or equipment improvements that will increase throughput, reduce manufacturing costs, and improve repeatable quality. Must track and justify savings as criteria for annual performance review. Position reports to Director of Operations. This role will work closely with Production, Quality, and Maintenance.

+ Develops, evaluates, and drives improvement in methods and procedures to reduce cycle time, material consumption, scrap, and extra processing steps used in the manufacture of thin walled, steel pressure vessels while considering cost, quality, safety, delivery, and production capabilities.
