Join CLMA as the Manager of Library Collections, where you will oversee all aspects of collection management. This essential role includes the delivery of physical and electronic resources while enhancing community engagement.
As a key part of the leadership team, this position reports to the Director, Strategy & Innovation. You will be responsible for developing quality collections and supervising acquisition processes to align with community and organizational needs. Building vendor relationships and utilizing trends will ensure effective management of library resources and budgetary considerations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the collection development process end-to-end
• Build and maintain vendor relationships for optimal negotiations
• Oversee the Integrated Library System functionalities
• Collaborate with team members to meet emerging needs
• Provide training and support to library staff
Requirements:
• Master of Library/Information Science Degree
