Role Summary Tourism Calgary is seeking a dynamic and highly organized
Manager of Major Events
to support the successful delivery of high-impact events hosted in Calgary. Reporting to the Executive Director, Sport, Culture and Major Events, this role will work across a portfolio of major national and international events secured through Tourism Calgary’s event attraction efforts, helping ensure organizers receive exceptional support while maximizing the economic, community and reputational impact for Calgary.
The Manager of Major Events will oversee event-related deliverables and contractual obligations, while coordinating community activations and partner engagement that bring events to life across the city. Working closely with event organizers, venues, government, industry partners, and community stakeholders, this role plays an important part in ensuring Calgary delivers world‑class event experiences and reinforces its reputation as a premier host city.
