ResponsibilitiesPreparation and review of income tax provisions under IFRS and US GAAP
Work with team members on Canadian tax compliance matters with a focus on foreign reporting (i.e. surplus accounts, T106, T1134, T1135, NR4 and withholding taxes)
Structuring Canadian operations and conducting tax due diligence for the acquisition of Canadian target entities
Working with our colleagues around the globe to develop strategies that allow multinational organizations to reduce their worldwide effective tax rate
Researching technical issues with respect to the above as well as inbound and outbound international tax advisory projects
