Makerspace Machinist and Laboratory Technical Specialist

The Technical Services Team in the Schulich School of Engineering is currently seeking a Full‑time Limited Term Makerspace Machinist and Laboratory Technical Specialist for approximately 12 months.

The primary responsibility of this position is the safe and proficient operation of undergraduate teaching laboratories, maker spaces, course projects, and technical co‑curricular activities. This position provides technical support, technical advice, related Makerspace activities, training and mentorship to the Undergraduate body. Time permitting, this position will provide assistance to Graduate students and Research groups.

This successful candidate will report to the Makerspace & Shop Manager of Technical Services and will be a member of the Technical Services Team providing support to academics, students and staff.
