Maintenance Worker

Summary This position is a Maintenance Worker, WG- 4749-8 working in Los Alamos, New Mexico for the IM-1539-BAND. Responsibilities As a Maintenance Worker your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: Performing recurring building and/or utility maintenance and operation duties and to assist journeymen and other higher-graded workers. Replacing light switches and household light fixtures and changing light bulbs. Mixing masonry cement, sand and water, cinder blocks and flagstone. Performing concrete and plaster touch up around existing historic and other masonry structures. Operating and performing minor maintenance on vehicles such as ten-wheel dump truck, front end loader, bulldozer, and hot oil distributer. Requirements Conditions of Employment U.S. Citizenship required. Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
