Maintenance Technician

Overview

Scharringa Greenhouses is hiring a Greenhouse Repairs and Maintenance Technician to maintain greenhouse structures, equipment, and systems.

Key Duties

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on structures, irrigation, heating, cooling, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Work with battery operated vehicles.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and keep accurate repair records on vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Requirements

• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (greenhouse or agricultural background preferred).
• Skilled with hand and power tools; physically fit for lifting, climbing, and varied temperatures.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork ability.
