Maintenance Technician

Key Accountabilities

• Execute a detailed and thorough maintenance plan
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and engineering standards to ensure maintenance projects adhere to compliance
• Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing equipment, observation, or other methods
• Be able to read and interpret full scale drawings of pipe systems, line classes, supports, and related equipment, following Isometrics and P&ID’s
• Rig and lift components and torque and tension bolted joints, filling out reports as required

What You Bring to the Role

• Alberta Journeyman or Red Seal Pipefitter or Steamfitter trades certificate
• 5-10 years of experience working as a Pipefitter or Steamfitter in a heavy industrial environment
