Maintenance Technician- Fogo Island Inn

The Opportunity

We are looking for a candidate with a positive, can-do attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Maintenance Technician will focus on supporting the day-to-day operations of Fogo Island Inn's facility systems, including water treatment, boilers, refrigeration and air conditioning, and other critical building infrastructure. Reporting to the Facility Systems Engineer, this role is central to keeping the Inn running smoothly.

The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Maintenance team, the Maintenance Team Lead, and contractors, coordinating daily work activity while fostering a culture of continuous learning and mentorship for junior staff. The role requires someone comfortable troubleshooting building management software, enforcing safety procedures, and rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.
