Reports To
Appropriate facility Manager
Purpose
To ensure a high standard of maintiance, repair, and facility improvements.
For Vialta Lodge and Beaver Manor.
Job Requirements
- Formal training or considerable experience in building maintenance
- Experience and the ability to carry out basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing and heating repairs.
- Grounds keeping knowledge and the ability to operate and maintain grounds keeping equipment.
- Self motivation and ability to work without supervision.
- Willingness to perform a variety of tasks.
- Ability to prioritize maintenance and time requirements.
- Ability to anticipate potential maintenance problems and where possible take corrective action.
- Ability to book and work well with contractors.
