Opportunity Description
The parts room clerk is responsible for the inventory control in the maintenance department. 3rd shift hours from 10:00pm - 6:30am
+ Issued MR parts to maintenance personnel and match up the item in the inventory system to assure that it is correct.
+ Perform daily inventory counts on high use items to physically verify that quantities match with the inventory in the system.
+ Perform a total cycle count each month, giving the manager the documentation.
+ Maintain copies of all paperwork generated.
+ Unload trucks when materials arrive, physically verify inventory received and assure that they are in good condition, if not note on the BOL before signing for the shipment and notify buyer and vendor directly.
+ Stock shelves to maintain order and accuracy.
+ Maintain, cleanliness and organization in the supply room.
+ Must work well with the parts customers within the plant and outside the plant.
