Maintenance Officer

Contract – £13.52 per hour, 16 hours per week. Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided, 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract).

Role Overview

As a Maintenance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the home remains safe, well maintained and fully operational at all times. This is a hands‑on role with responsibility, where your practical skills and proactive approach will directly support the safety, comfort and overall environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks across the building and grounds, including repairs, inspections, installations and general upkeep.
• Ensure equipment and systems are working safely and efficiently, identifying issues early and taking appropriate action.
• Work closely with the Home Manager and wider team to support maintenance planning, compliance checks and contractor coordination where required.
