Sovereign, a national supplier of quality chicken products to various markets with operations in five provinces, is seeking a thorough and committed individual for the position of Millwright for its Cobbs operations.
The successful incumbent must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, computer literacy, and skills in electrical fault-finding, mechanical repairs, motors, pumps, conveyors, sensors, probes, panels, PLCs, control systems and preventative maintenance, and a Millwright certificate.
The individual would be required to work shifts, have own transport, and provide own basic hand tools needed to perform the function of a Millwright. This position reports to the Hatchery Manager and carries the TASK Grade 10.
Responsibilities
- Conducting preventative maintenance.
- Execution of job cards allocated.
- Accurate job card administration.
- Adherence to manufacturer’s service schedules.
