Maintenance Mechanic
AGT Foods is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic. The applicant must be energetic, self‑motivated, physically fit, and able to work at heights when needed.
Responsibilities
- Preventative maintenance for the processing plants and equipment
- Day‑to‑day repairs such as bearings, belts and gearboxes
- Planning, coordinating and implementing plant repairs and projects
- Maintain records for all maintenance and repairs on plant equipment
- Maintain and procure supplies and parts inventories
- Operate hand tools, power tools and man lifts safely
Qualifications
- Experience with welding is an asset but not required
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions as necessary
- Mechanic aptitude
- Willingness to work overtime as required
- Demonstrated knowledge of industrial machinery, including grain handling and cleaning systems
