Mainframe & Distributed Systems Administrator - Tech Lead

Overview

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of the world’s biggest clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support mainframe environments using ISPF, TSO utilities, JCL, Control‑M (BMC), DB2 tables, and dataset handling, ensuring reliable batch and online processing.
• Support distributed systems across Unix and Windows platforms, including administration of WebSphere JVMs, Citrix environments, messaging middleware (MQ), and virtualized infrastructures using VMware ESX.
• Implement, manage, and provide operational support for Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 environments.
• Contribute to problem resolution, operational excellence, and service continuity.
