Opportunity Description
Join Alamos Gold as a Maclean Operator and engage in underground mining operations at Island Gold District. This role focuses on mucking, drilling, and safe operation of heavy equipment.
Positioned in northern Ontario, you will work within a dedicated team in a 14 on/14 off rotational schedule. Your responsibilities will include mucking out blasted material, installing ground support, and drilling in compliance with regulations. Previous experience as a Scoop Operator and Bolter are essential for this underground role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely muck out blasted rounds
• Install ground support to standards
• Prepare the drilling face meticulously
• Cap, load, and blast rounds safely
• Operate scissor trucks and scoops proficiently
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education preferred
• 6 months Scoop Operator experience required
• U/G common core modules necessary
