**What to Expect**
The **Maintenance Mechanic (Machinist/Millwright)** **, Ferndale Refinery** is primarily responsible for the maintenance of rotating equipment in the refinery including troubleshooting, mechanical repair, replacement, alteration, and preventive maintenance. Rotating equipment assets include centrifugal pumps, Sundyne pumps, fans, gearboxes, turbines, seal systems, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, injection pumps, etc. This position utilizes various hand tools, power tools, specialty tools, mobile equipment, specialty shop tools, lathes, mills, balancing machines, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
This position is on a 4/10 work schedule. The work is split between outdoor work and shop work, both in an industrial environment. The employee must possess the fitness and ability to perform the tasks safely and responsibly under normal supervision. The tasks listed below ...
