Opportunity Description
Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is seeking a Machining Tech IV, Press- 2nd Shift at our aerospace manufacturing facility in the Fullerton, CA.
This position sets up and operates or sets up for other operators all types and sizes of forming presses (60 to 700 ton).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Assembles and adjusts die set by selecting proper tooling and tests to assure proper clearance.
+ Sets up according to work order and layouts to insure proper form configuration.
+ Uses precision measuring instruments and reads blueprints to check parts for conformance to specifications.
+ Operates machines to ensure proper functioning and releases to and instructs operators in procedures for producing parts in conformance with specifications.
+ Performs other related tasks in departments to which assigned such as: Assembling, drilling, deburring, sorting, counting, etching, stamping, recording of parts processed and housekeep...
