Job Description
We are seeking a Cable Technician with experience supporting structured cabling, fiber installations, and data center environments. This role is responsible for installing, testing, maintaining, and documenting network infrastructure while supporting critical telecommunications and ISP operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in active data center environments.
What You'll Do
• Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling
• Perform rack-and-stack deployments for servers, switches, and network equipment
• Install cable trays, ladder racks, fiber raceways, and supporting infrastructure
• Complete fiber and copper patching activities in data centers and telecom rooms
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and verify network performance using testing equipment
• Support equipment migrations, decommissions, and infrastructure upgrades
