Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic
• The Nuna Group of Companies is now accepting resumes for a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic. • Competitive hourly rates with overtime pay and travel and accommodation provided. • Salary: CA$85,854.00 yearly.
• This position will be responsible for the repairs and preventative maintenance of all company‑owned fleet, including trucks, tractors, trailers and heavy equipment.
• The role is eligible for health and safety benefits.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and participate in interviewing, recruitment, and selection of new transportation staff.
- Supervise and schedule CDFs as riders and drivers.
- Conduct transportation operations and inventory management activities.
- Maintain emergency supplies, conduct PAC operations, and manage fleet maintenance scheduling.
