LifeLabs Part Time Laboratory Assistant Role

Join LifeLabs as a Part Time Laboratory Assistant and play a vital role in patient care. This position, available on a floating basis, demands everyday proficiency in laboratory testing and patient interaction in the West Vancouver area.
We are looking for two candidates to fill the part-time float position, operating Sundays to Saturdays. Responsibilities include performing specimen collections, ECGs, and supporting clients with their inquiries. A background in a related field such as nursing or medical laboratory sciences is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage patients for specimen collection processes
• Conduct phlebotomy and monitor vitals effectively
• Manage the collection of specific legal and clinical tests
• Maintain accurate records and data entry
• Prepare specimens for transportation and testing
